At Strongsville Psychological Services, we have been dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care to individuals and families in the southwest communities of Cleveland since 1995. Our mission is to deliver effective and timely counseling and assessment services to those facing mental health challenges.
Our team of experienced psychologists, social workers, and licensed counselors are skilled in addressing a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, anger management, interpersonal/marital issues, bereavement, parent-child conflicts, behavior disorders, substance abuse, and trauma. We strive to create a comfortable and professional environment for our clients, from the initial call to our support staff to the end of treatment.
Services
Strongsville Psychological Services offers a variety of services to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our therapy services include individual therapy, marital/couples therapy, child and family therapy. Our team of experienced clinicians can provide treatment from various perspectives, including Christian/spirituality-based counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, attachment work, and stress management/reduction. We also offer specialized services such as eating disorders, attachment problems, chronic illness, and high-conflict divorce.
Our assessment services include evaluations for serious clinical and cognitive conditions, such as learning disabilities/attention deficit disorder, alcohol/substance abuse assessments, and bariatric assessments. Our team of professionals, including certified school psychologists and substance abuse professionals, are equipped to provide comprehensive assessments that address the specific needs of each client.
COVID-19 Update
At Strongsville Psychological Services, we prioritize the health and safety of our clients and staff. As such, we have implemented measures to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Masks are now optional in all areas of SPS, with two exceptions. Individual therapists may request a client wear a mask in an in-person session. We also ask that any client who is having symptoms of potential contagious disease (e.g., cough, sore throat) either wear a mask or switch their scheduled session to telehealth.

Strongsville Psychological Services is proud to be a sponsor of the critically acclaimed American Independent film "Ghostlight" at the 48th Annual Cleveland International Film Festival, April 3rd-13th, 2024. We believe in the importance of supporting local arts and culture, and we are excited to be a part of this event.

Our staff is available Monday through Saturday to assist you with the intake process, including verifying insurance and scheduling with an available therapist who specializes in your specific clinical concern. Most new clients can have a first session within a week!
