Taking the initial step towards personal growth and seeking therapy requires immense courage. As a licensed Psychologist practicing in the greater Los Angeles and Inland Empire areas, with offices conveniently located in Diamond Bar and Rancho Cucamonga, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without judgment. My unwavering commitment is to empower you on your journey toward healing and a more fulfilling life.
I believe that every individual deserves to experience the transformative power of therapy. My passion for this work stems from witnessing firsthand the profound impact it can have on people's lives. It is an honor to walk alongside individuals as they confront challenges, gain self-awareness, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. I am deeply dedicated to fostering an environment where my clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a widely recognized and effective model that focuses on identifying and modifying unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. My style is interactive and direct, aiming to facilitate a collaborative process where you actively participate in your growth and healing. I believe that this approach empowers individuals to take ownership of their mental well-being and develop lasting solutions.
My journey in psychology began at the University of California, Riverside, where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. Furthering my education, I received my Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis on Multi-Cultural Community Clinical Psychology, from the accredited Ph. D. program at the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles in 1997.
I am an active member of both the American Psychological Association and the California Psychological Association, staying abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in the field. Being culturally sensitive and responsive is paramount to me, and my fluency in Arabic allows me to connect with and serve a diverse range of clients.
