At Scherzer Clinical & Behavioral Psychology, we understand the importance of mental health and the impact it has on our daily lives. For over a decade, our dedicated team, led by Dr. Melissa Scherzer, has been providing personalized and compassionate services to children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a range of mental health issues.

Dr. Scherzer is a certified psychologist, school psychologist, and board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). She has a wealth of experience in treating conditions such as Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, OCD, ASD, Trichotillomania, Specific Phobias, Anxiety, and Depression. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Scherzer is also an Adjunct Professor for Drew University graduate studies and a Practicum Site Supervisor for Rutgers Graduate School of Applied Professional Psychology (GSAPP).

She has been working with children, adolescents, and adults for over a decade, providing them with individualized attention and using evidence-based treatments to manage and treat a range of challenging problems. Dr. Scherzer is dedicated to building strong relationships with her patients and helping them overcome their mental health challenges.

Dr. Scherzer specializes in the treatment of Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, OCD, ASD, Trichotillomania, Specific Phobias, Anxiety, and Depression. She is also a Certified School Psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
