Rewire your brain, change your world.
As a seasoned psychotherapist with over thirty years of experience in the Washington, DC area, I have had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life, helping them navigate the complexities of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe that everyone has the potential for change and growth, regardless of their past experiences or current circumstances.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative. I take the time to understand each client's unique struggles and work closely with them to identify the patterns and behaviors that may be holding them back. I believe that the past is an important part of our present, but it's possible to change our perceptions and feelings about past events, allowing us to move forward with greater ease and positivity.
My Expertise
I specialize in trauma, grief, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, peak performance issues, and emotionally disturbing experiences. As a certified sex therapist, I have co-authored two books on sexuality and have developed workshops and group therapy sessions to help individuals improve their sexual well-being.
Mind-Body Therapies
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I have incorporated mind-body therapies into my practice, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Brainspotting. These innovative modalities have been shown to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences more quickly and effectively.
Shared Intimacies and the Intimate Male
I have co-authored two books on sexuality, Shared Intimacies: Women's Sexual Experiences and The Intimate Male: Candid Discussions About Women, Sex, and Relationships. These books offer insights and perspectives on human sexuality and have been well-received by readers and professionals alike.
Sexuality Workshops
I offer 10-session workshops for women based on the book For Yourself: The Fulfillment of Female Sexuality, by Lonnie Barbach PhD. These workshops are designed to help participants explore their sexual well-being, build self-esteem, and develop a more positive body image.

If you're interested in learning more about my workshops or would like to schedule a consultation, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm here to help you navigate your journey and find greater well-being.
