Dr. Julia E. Davies holds degrees from Harvard University, McGill University, and Adelphi University. She is a faculty member and clinical supervisor at the National Training Program in Contemporary Psychoanalysis at NIP, New York City, and the Michigan Council for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. Dr. Davies has published and presented extensively, exploring topics like the paradoxical nature of self-interest, self-fulness, shame, the poetry of dreams, personal authority, and therapy by phone.
