Focus your mind, focus your life.
At Dr. Chingyen Godwin, LLC, we believe that psychotherapy is a highly personal and individualized process that depends on the unique personalities of both the psychologist and the patient, as well as the specific concerns brought forward by the patient. Our approach is based on various methods, including neurofeedback-based interventions, to address the complex issues that our clients face.
What to Expect
Unlike a visit to a primary care physician's office, our psychotherapy sessions are designed to be a collaborative and interactive process. We encourage patients to participate actively in their therapy, working on issues both during and outside of our sessions. While we understand that this approach may involve some discomfort or uncertainty, we believe that it is essential for achieving the best possible outcomes.
Benefits of Psychotherapy
The benefits of psychotherapy have been well-documented in literature and research, including improved relationships with others, increased life satisfaction, and enhanced stress tolerance. However, we want to be clear that there are no guarantees of what a patient will experience during the therapy process.
