Touching. Truth. Together.
Welcome to my website, where I offer a unique approach to psychotherapy that combines the somatic, spiritual, and psychological aspects of the human experience. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have extensive training in Somatic Psychotherapy, which recognizes the interconnectedness of our physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is rooted in the idea that our bodies, emotions, and thoughts are intertwined. I believe that by exploring and releasing the physical and emotional tension that we hold in our bodies, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us. My sessions are designed to help you develop greater self-awareness, mindfulness, and self-compassion. Together, we will explore the ways in which your physical body is storing and holding onto emotional trauma, and we will work to release this tension and heal your body, mind, and spirit.
My Training
I have extensive training in Somatic Psychotherapy, which is an approach that emphasizes the importance of the physical body in the healing process. This training has provided me with a deep understanding of the ways in which our bodies store and hold onto emotional trauma. I have also studied a range of other therapeutic approaches, including Yoga Nidra, Mindfulness practices, Humanistic Psychology, Transpersonal Psychology, Gestalt therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My Experience
I have over 25 years of experience as a Yoga Instructor and Practitioner, and I have worked with a wide range of clients, from children to adults, in a variety of settings, including private practice, hospitals, and non-profit organizations. I have also worked with individuals, couples, and groups, and I have experience in a range of therapeutic approaches.
My Services
I offer individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, as well as supervision and consultation services to other therapists and healthcare professionals. I am licensed in both Colorado and California, and I am an approved supervisor for the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
My Specialties
I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are struggling with emotional trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and self-esteem concerns. I am also experienced in working with individuals who are seeking personal growth and transformation, as well as those who are experiencing chronic pain or illness.
My Philosophy
My philosophy is that everyone has the capacity to heal and transform, and that by working together, we can uncover the underlying causes of our struggles and create new ways of being. I believe that by honoring our bodies, emotions, and spirits, we can live more authentic, compassionate, and fulfilling lives.
