Start your new path in life and be the change today!
At Scott Boyd, LPC, LAC, we understand that life can be overwhelming and challenging. That's why our experienced and compassionate therapist is dedicated to helping individuals like you break free from the limitations that hold you back. Our mission is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you can share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and work together to develop strategies for overcoming obstacles and achieving a more fulfilling life.
Our Services
We offer a range of evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Brainspotting. Our therapist is skilled in using these approaches to help individuals process trauma, anxieties, and other challenges that may be holding them back. By combining these therapies with a deep understanding of human psychology and relationships, we can help you develop more effective coping mechanisms, improve your emotional well-being, and foster healthier relationships.
Our Approach
Our approach is centered around the idea that we often develop coping strategies to get us through difficult times, but these strategies may not be effective in the long run. As a result, we may find ourselves stuck in self-limiting patterns and behaviors that prevent us from living our best lives. Our therapist is trained to help you identify and overcome these limitations, and to develop more adaptive and empowering ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving.
Education and Training
Our therapist, Scott Boyd, has a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Conservation from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC.0015025) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (ACD.0002169), and has received extensive training in EMDR, EFT, Brainspotting, and other evidence-based therapies. He is a member of several professional associations, including the American Counseling Association, the Colorado Counseling Association, and the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy.
