Positive: The center has professional staff, accepts insurance, and offers high-quality therapy services.
Negative: The center has extensive wait lists, billing issues, and may not be concerned about losing patients.

Professional Staff and Insurance Acceptance

The review from Paul Debevec mentions that the admin staff at The Metis Center seem very professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic. Additionally, the center's willingness to accept insurance is a major plus.

Insurance and Wait Lists

The review from Alison Hatch expresses frustration with the center's extensive wait lists and lack of concern for losing patients. She also notes that the center is one of the few that accepts insurance, but this comes with its own set of issues. The reviewer's personal experience with finding a provider that takes insurance was unsuccessful, as the provider's schedule changes made it impossible for them to keep the appointment.

Billing and Services

Toria Thompson's review highlights the importance of reading the fine print. According to her, the center bills clients for services that their insurance company denies, even if the denial could have been prevented by resubmitting the claim. However, she did have a positive experience with the assessment and therapy process, which met the requirements for her insurance company to authorize a surgery.

High-Quality Therapists and Environment

Owen Love's review is extremely positive, stating that the center's therapists are of high quality and that the environment is friendly. He also appreciates the sliding scale policy and the culture of the organization, which he believes is a model for other counseling offices to follow.
